Aerial View: August 1, 2013

Summer is in full swing here, and things have more than filled in. In fact, lots of our vining plants are starting to overstep their bounds, spilling into paths and tangling among other plants. The big culprits are the pole beans (check out the bean house!), squashes, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, and melons. The tomatoes and potatoes are also flopping all over each other. By September we'll be beating everything back, but for now it's pleasantly full. The few empty spots have been planted with fall veggies like cabbages and broccoli.
